Liz Cameron’s career spans more than 30 years, in the private and public sector where her strategic leadership and visionary focus are widely acclaimed and celebrated by many.

Liz also serves on a number of organisations in a non-executive capacity assisting with strategic governance and business formulation. She has been a Board member of ESEP Limited and is Vice Chair of the Big Lottery Fund in Scotland.

Liz is recognised in the Scottish Business Insider’s Top 10 Women of Influence in Scotland and was shortlisted as Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2013 Scottish Business Awards. 

Her achievements include:

  • Establishing the Scottish Youth Investment Fund to help young people into business;
  • Former Director of the Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust;
  • Experience of social inclusion and regeneration by chairing the Ferguslie Park Social Regeneration Company;
  • Represented the business community on the Scottish Parliament’s Labour Market Working Group.

Liz lives in Gourock with her husband Sam and 2 children.

Liz is a very strong, resilient inspiring woman who always goes that extra mile to help other women achieve personal and professional success. She is very humble, never puts herself forward, and instead strives on pushing others to achieve their best. She deserves to be recognised for championing women, business and young people in a very busy male dominated sector. She shows compassion, integrity and is a positive role model and a great asset to Scotland.
