Janice is one of the country’s busiest and most versatile broadcasters. She currently presents The Culture Studio – BBC Radio Scotland’s live, daily arts and music show – as well as the station’s Edinburgh Festival programmes, Proms in the Park, and Laughed Off The Page – conversations with leading comedy writers.
She has presented many TV seriesincluding Filmnight (Channel 4) and The Book Show (BBC3), and hosts The Scottish Book Trust’s Authors’ Live UK-wide webcasts with top children’s writers, as well as events including Burns an’ a’ That; The Scottish Album of the Year, and Arts & Business Scotland awards ceremonies; National Theatre of Scotland autumn talks; Aberdeen University’s Director’s Cut; Royal Lyceum Theatre Conversations (including Michael Frayn, John Byrne and Julie Walters), and The Edinburgh International Film Festival awards, with Sir Sean Connery. She has also written for publications including The Herald, Scotsman, Scotland On Sunday, Daily Record and New Statesman.
