The Saltire Society Literary Awards are currently closed to submissions.

The Saltire Society team are working to hard secure a sponsor to help make Scotland's National Book Awards 2021 happen. We know how important it is to celebrate the incredible work publishers and writers have been doing since the last Awards and so we intend to accept submissions of books published between the end of 2019 Awards eligibility deadline (September 2019) and February 2021 giving us an 18 month window.

If you have any questions in the meantime or you wish to be notified when the Awards open, please email saltire@saltiresociety.org.uk
