The Saltire Society is proud to offer busaries throughout the year, including the Inspring Scotland Bursary for emerging creatives, the Literary Bursary to promote literary research and the Music Bursary.

We promote our opportunities as they open for entries through this website, on Creative Scotland's Opportunities page and through our social media.

The International Travel Bursary

The Saltire Society is international in is outlook and we are keen to encourage that great tradition amongst younger generations. The International Travel Bursary is an exciting new aspect of that perspective made possible through a new partnership with the British Council Scotland. The Saltire Society are offering the opportunity for a young student to research and explore an idea and make contacts on an international learning journey/study visit.
