Sue Pirnie has covered many roles in the arts, including teacher and advisory teacher to Tate Britiain;Highland Council Arts Officer, curating and managing galleries, public art and regeneration, residencies; Visual Arts Officer at the Scottish Arts Council.

As a freelance arts specialist she works with agencies and organisations on research and development across Scotland, and contributes to several boards and awards panels.

A collector of art and crafts, she also commissions work from jewellery to, most recently, a gate/entrance feature by Sam Barlow - Highland artist-blacksmith.
