The brief was to build a new house to meet the clients currents needs and to comply with contemporary standards of building performance.

The house aesthetic  hasa contemporary feel but within the contaxt of its landscape. The design needed to work for the diverse uses of the house in a rural farming community - home working, living and potential holiday letting. This was accomplished with a tradtional long house design with 'scandinavian' simplicity while also making hte most of the views.
