Green House is built within an existing walled garden, on the site of the old greenhouse.
It embraces the ideas of low impact, low energy and sustainable housing, while also sympathetically incorporating the old garden dovecot.
The south facing glazed wall absorbs sunshine, it has high levels of insulation, a sedum roof, a ground source heat pump providing underfloor heating and a solar panels which covers the house’s energy needs as well as returning electricity to the grid.
