Key Aims and Objectives:

  • The brief was to develop high quality living accommodation with a desired mix of townhouses and apartments. 

  • Define and work with a limited palette of materials that reflects the qualities of Edinburgh’s West Murrayfield Conservation Area. 

  • Develop properties that make use of the steep topography of the development site by introducing double height south facing public rooms that open out onto private enclosed gardens. 

  • Present a strong build edge to the large mature gardens to the southern end of the development site.
