Architect

Bruce is an award winning architect who has working on low carbon public & private housing all over Scotland. He held the RIAS Advanced Sustainability accreditation and has been a registered Energy Performance Certifier for over seven years. Recently, on secondment to The Construction Scotland Innovation Centre as the Head of Technical Operations his work has led to the establishment of a unique large scale prototyping centre to support the construction industry’s need for physical prototyping and testing of new products including homegrown Cross Laminate Timber. He is base din Gourock and currently runs his small practice Kraft Architecture + Research, working on a diverse range of projects with various community groups & housing associations, delivering projects that include offsite volumetric maker workspaces on difficult urban sites through to communal heating dementia friendly sheltered housing.
